Nasa’s Artemis crew welcomed back to Planet Earth in Houston

Four astronauts who flew on NASA’s Artemis II mission around the Moon returned to Planet Earth at an event in Houston, Texas.

Commander Reid Wiseman said the mission was “the most special thing I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

The astronauts — Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen — were reunited with their families on Saturday.

Their nine-day journey took them further from Earth than any human in history.
