Nation’s Prosperity Key to Individual Progress: Mohan Bhagwat
Kochi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday said individual prosperity can be achieved only when the country is prosperous and secure. He was addressing a meeting here after inaugurating the two-day convention of Balagokulam, a cultural organization for RSS-affiliated students.
Bhagwat said prosperity and security cannot be achieved alone. “When the country is prosperous and secure, families also attain prosperity and security. As individuals work for the prosperity and security of the nation, they also attain prosperity.”
He added that people are often encouraged to contribute to nation building. Referring to young people, Bhagwat said that there is often confusion about whether to focus on personal career development or work for the development of the country. “There should be no confusion as building a career and working for the nation are not contradictory. The important thing is to choose the right path,” he said.
As part of the inauguration, Bhagwat offered floral gifts to Lord Krishna. He also interacted with the children who attended the Balagokulam event.
