CNBC’s Sara Eisen clashed with her co-hosts of “The View Friday,” arguing that President Donald Trump’s military action in Iran will keep future generations of Americans safe, but her co-hosts were unconvinced.
Serving as a guest presenter, Eisen argued that a case could be made for the overthrow of Iran and said: “This is a strategic opportunity to ensure that our children do not face the biggest state sponsor of terrorism being a nuclear power.”
“Once they have nuclear weapons and threaten our ally Israel or Eastern Europe, it is too late,” he warned.
“So you feel safer today?” “View” co-host Ana Navarro asked.
Eisen argued that he actually felt safer knowing that America was working to prevent the rise of a potential nuclear threat. Co-host Sara Haines sympathized with his point of view, but argued that there were lessons from the past that should be taken into account.

“I agree with all the points you just made. While I see removing leadership in Iran is a good thing, my fear was: how do we get out?” he asked. “Because we watched this in Iraq, too. We watched what happened.”
Haines argued that Iran would not only be a dangerous territory to invade, but would also be an impossible war due to the succession of the Iranian leadership. (The Trump administration has said most of Iran’s leaders were killed in strikes during Operation Epic Rage.)
Haines also noted that a particularly extreme culture exists among leaders in Iran, to the point of “honoring death”, with loyalists of the Iranian regime believing that martyrdom against the enemy is an eternal reward in the afterlife. He argued that there was no equivalent in America.
When Eisen claimed that Trump was truly aware that the American people had no desire for another long-term ground war, host Sunny Hostin jokingly said: “Do you think he has a plan or ‘plan concepts’?”

“I believe they have more than you guys think,” Eisen replied, referring to the many strategic goals they laid out.
Navarro later claimed that Trump had made a serious miscalculation on Iran.
“Frankly, I think Trump has what a friend of mine calls ‘Venezuelan destabilization syndrome,’ and he thought it would be just as easy to get rid of the regime in Iran and find people to work with as it was in Venezuela, and that’s proven to be a whole different ball of wax,” Navarro said. he said.
White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales told Fox News Digital that Trump has four different goals for Operation Epic Fury.
“The Trump-Deranged nutters on The View have no talent and a very poorly rated TV show,” Wales said. “President Trump launched Operation Epic Fury with four distinct goals: to destroy the Iranian regime’s ballistic missile and manufacturing capacity, to destroy the Iranian regime’s Navy, to end their ability to arm proxies, and to ensure that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon. The U.S. Military meets or exceeds all criteria, and the president’s decisive action quickly eliminates short- and long-term threats to the United States and our allies.”
