NC MP Ruhullah seeks immediate, unconditional release of rights activist Khurram Parvez

The National Conference of the Management (NC) leader and parliamentary member Aga Syed Ruhullah demanded that Khurram Parvez, a human rights activist who completed more than 1400 days in prison on Monday, to be released immediately and unconditionally.

MP Ruhullah said, “For more than 1,400 days, the BJP-RSS regime kesmiri kept Khurram Parvez, a defender of human rights. Prison is not only an attack on his dignity, but also an attack on the collective rights and freedoms of all Kashmiri.

He silenced Khurram and said that they were trying to rob the people of Kashmir from the sense of protection and accountability provided by a waking human rights advocate.

The 46 -year -old Kashmir -based human rights activist Kurram Parvez was arrested in 2021 by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Parvez, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coalition (JKCCS) and the Chairman of the Asian Federation (AFAD).

In 2017, JKCCs were awarded the Rafto Human Rights Award. NIA was arrested in accordance with the provisions of UAPA.
