Three ‘Nestflix’ peregrine falcons each take flight for the first time

Three stars of “Nestflix” 2025, the high-drama peregrine falcon livestream that has captured the hearts of tens of thousands of Australians, have finally taken their first flight.

For three days, each of the three falcon chicks spread their wings and soared over Melbourne’s city skyline, albeit with some hiccups.

While two of the chicks managed to take off with ease, one chick made a daring first attempt before crash-landing on a ledge. After getting over the initial disappointment, he was successful on the second try.

According to BirdLife Australia, the chicks will stay close to the city for the next few weeks and rely on their parents for food until they are ready to take on the world on their own.
