New footage emerges of Jude Bellingham clashing with jubilant Argentina players on the pitch as they celebrate sending England home from the World Cup

Following England’s heartbreaking exit from the World Cup, a new perspective has emerged as Jude Bellingham faces Argentina’s stars.
Bellingham fell out with Valentin Barco, who did not even feature in the match following the Three Lions’ late collapse and 2-1 defeat to Atlanta.
It was clearly an emotional moment for Bellingham, who was one of the World Cup’s best players with six goals and was left alone after the final whistle.
The Real Madrid midfielder’s moment was caught on television and now a new perspective has emerged from above, captured by a journalist from the Spanish press Daily AS.
In preparation for the flashpoint, an Argentinian player consoled Bellingham before a group gathered near him.
Barco then turned his head to say something – it was not clear to whom or in what language – and soon the England star appeared to snap.
Jude Bellingham had an argument with Argentina substitute Valentina Barco after the semi-final.
He also got into a conflict with defender Nicolas Otamendi as other players tried to stop them.
Bellingham appeared to start the confrontation by slapping Barco on the back of the neck.
The Strasbourg player went to Barco and slapped him on the head.
The full-back then returned and pushed Bellingham, his temper flaring. Nicolas Otamendi also came and pushed the Englishman.
A few Argentine players tried to act as peacemakers, but even when they were apart it looked as if Bellingham and Otamendi wanted more head-to-head action.
This came after an extremely passionate and rather thuggish game, so it’s understandable that tensions were high.
Ultimately, when the going got tough, Argentina remained the calmer side. England took the lead through Anthony Gordon in the 55th minute but quickly gave it up, inviting pressure.
This and Thomas Tuchel’s defensive changes spelled the end for England.
In the 85th minute, Enzo Fernandez scored a perfect shot from outside the penalty area, then Lautaro Martinez broke the hearts of the English with his header two minutes before the end of the match.
Bellingham, who had a great performance throughout the tournament, seemed upset about this. In what appeared to be disappointment with Jordan Pickford, who had made a string of impressive saves, he looked up at the sky, stretched out his arms and said: ‘He’s right in the middle of the goal.’
Tuchel concluded to BBC Sport: ‘We were disappointed, we were so close but after scoring goals and missing so many opportunities we became very passive.
‘We couldn’t change possession and missed many crosses, positions and shots. We were close but couldn’t keep level after scoring.
‘Of course we wanted to score the second goal, but I didn’t get the feeling that the attacking substitutions would work. We stayed in 4-4-2, but we became more and more passive.
‘We couldn’t win any balls, we couldn’t keep the ball, so I don’t think it’s a structural problem, we haven’t changed anything. But the match has changed completely.’
Harry Kane said: ‘My heart aches for the boys, the team, the staff and the fans. We played well for most of the match. When we went ahead 1-0, it seemed like we were trying to hold on. At this level, that’s not enough. I am heartbroken because we have worked so hard to be here and the kids have shed every last drop of sweat, blood and tears.
‘We had difficulty putting pressure on the ball. We put good pressure in the first half and at the beginning of the second half and put them under pressure. After the goal, everyone made fun of us, whether it was because they put more men forward or because we couldn’t match them man to man. The kids were putting blocks, but it wasn’t enough.
‘Children are ready at any time. When we went forward the message was to go again and get another goal. After scoring two goals, we were trying to find something, but we couldn’t keep the momentum.
‘We had very good moments and very good matches in this tournament. We are close, we need to find that missing piece in the final stage of the tournament. Tournaments take away a lot of effort, pressure and mindset. We’re missing that last piece.’
Dan Burn added: ‘Absolutely gutted. For the most part I think our game plan was pretty good. But of course when we scored we were a bit passive, fell behind and ended up being punished for it.
‘We probably missed too many chances and if you do that they will score too. Disappointment from us. We defended the games better and outplayed them. ‘It hurts to come so close to the World Cup final.’
