New Hampshire country club shooting leaves multiple shot, suspect in custody

Authorities said that a fire at the New Hampshire Country Club attracted more than one person on Saturday and that a suspect was detained.

According to the Nashua Police Department, the event took place at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Police confirmed that a suspect was in custody.

Nashua Police Department said in a statement, “Video surveillance is only a shooter and is currently being detained.” He said. “The scene is still an active investigation, but there is no more danger to the public.”

Authorities initially reported that two armed suspects had escaped from the scene and one was in custody.

In the neighboring Dunstable, less than 10 miles of Massachusetts-Nashua organized a shelter for the residents of Thorndike Street, High Street and Hardy Street.
