New hate speech laws help seed the destruction of human rights

With the coalition self-immolation and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese somehow emerging with his reputation as a tactical genius intact, new hate speech laws have been passed by the Senate. What is the key to focus? Combating Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism (Criminal and Immigration Laws) Act is the new “banned hate groups” regime he created.

Generally speaking, a hate group is one step down from a terrorist organization, where the bar for banning is lower. The government said its targets were neo-Nazi groups such as the National Socialist Network and Islamic extremist groups such as Hizb ut Tahrir.
