LaGuardia pilot and co-pilot killed in crash of Air Canada jet in New York
The pilot and co-pilot of an Air Canada Express regional jet died after colliding with a fire truck while landing at New York’s LaGuardia airport, in an incident that closed the airport.
Approximately 40 passengers and crew, some seriously injured, were taken to area hospitals. Most people were released after treatment, authorities said Monday.
