NIA Searches 21 Locations in 5 States, 1 UT in Terror Conspiracy Case

Haydarabad: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sought more than one place in five states and an UT in India in a conspiracy case in connected to ISIS and other terrorist organizations.

A total of 21 places were investigated in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states and the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

In June this year, NIA took over the case from the Kayar Police in the Chengalpattu region of Tamil Nadu, and during the calls, he confiscated various digital devices, including surrounded documentary materials, including mobile phones.

The case arose with the arrest of a Akhlathur nickname Mohammed Akhlque Mujahid, who was allegedly conspiring with others to take terrorist actions in India. The conspiracy aimed at gathering men and financial support to get the fee of jihad against India by combining forces with banned terrorist organizations.

According to NIA investigations, the defendant was in contact with these terror clothes through social media platforms. It was also found that they had connections with more than one asset in Pakistan and Syria. The counter -terror agency continues with the investigation in the case.
