The 21-year-old was making her first Grand Slam final appearance at SW19 against fellow Czech and 2023 French Open finalist Carolina Muchova.

But after taking a commanding 6-2, 5-2 lead, tempers appeared to clear as Muchova hit back to seal the women’s result.

This was his first time participating in the tournament.
