Nitish Set to Take Oath as Bihar CM for 10th Time

Patna: Nitish Kumar is all set to assume office as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record 10th time. His political journey as CM began in March 2000, when he first assumed office; Notably, this period lasted only seven days before he resigned.

Since then, Nitish Kumar has led the state through numerous political realignments, coalition changes and landmark elections. According to Bihar Legislative Assembly data, his previous tenures and durations are as follows:
