Nominated Posts To Be Filled By Month-End, Says Lokesh

: Education minister and Telugu Desam general secretary Nara Lokesh in a statement on Tuesday asserted that “it is the joint responsibility of party MLAs, in-charge ministers and district coordinators to ensure justice to all cadre members”.
Addressing a meeting of district coordinators at the party’s state headquarters NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri, Lokesh said the party’s core principle of “workers are leaders” should be implemented in letter and spirit.
Stating that all pending party and candidate posts will be filled by the end of this month, Lokesh asked district coordinators to hold meetings involving clusters, units, stands and Kutumba Sadhikara Sarathi committees in each constituency along with local MLAs.
Lokesh asked the district coordinators to ensure that every activist is recognized and respected within the organisation. “Since the party came to power, our leaders must not be complacent and work harder than in the opposition days. Our responsibility towards party employees has increased even more,” he emphasized.
The minister asked district coordinators to prepare local election strategies in coordination with responsible ministers and MLAs. “The role of TD officers is crucial in constituencies represented by Jana Sena and BJP legislators.”
Lokesh asked the coordinators to visit all constituencies and review party affairs. Strengthening coordination between MLAs and cadre was crucial.
The TD general secretary asked the MLAs to conduct regular grievance redressal programs in their constituencies, receive petitions from the public and ensure speedy resolution of issues within their capacity. He said the party will examine the ‘wrong’ cases filed during the YSRC’s five-year rule and take necessary legal steps to resolve them.
Lokesh said MLAs and in-charges should actively participate in pension distribution, grievance meetings, cadre reviews and Swachh Andhra programmes. Regional coordinators should submit detailed reports on each of these activities, which the party leadership will then review.
The minister also asked the party leaders to ensure that accident insurance cheques are immediately delivered to the families of the affected members. “Every TD leader must work strictly under the direction of the party leadership.
District coordinators Mantenna Satyanarayana Raju, Bhoomireddy Rangopal Reddy, Beeda Ravichandra Yadav, Damacharla Sathya, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Deepak Reddy, Kovelamudi Ravindra, Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, Mandalapu Ravi and Pellakuru Srinivasa Reddy attended the meeting along with state party president Palla Srinivasa Rao.
