Nora Fatehi Represents India in FIFA World Cup 2026 Album With New Song ‘Siir Siir’

The new song of FIFA World Cup 2026 is finally out and it features Bollywood star Nora Fatehi. The name of the song is ‘Shir Sher’. Created in collaboration with music producer Sanjoy and French singer Vegedream, the album is part of the official musical project of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and is included in the official album of the tournament, which brings together artists from different musical backgrounds around the world. Nora Fatehi shared the song on her Instagram account on Monday.

Nora Fatehi called ‘Poetry Poem’ a “powerful representation of India” at events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup. “This song is a very special song to me. Poetry Through poetry, we wanted to try and blend different cultural influences and create something that felt truly global yet unique. I wanted to bring together every part of my identity, from my Moroccan roots to my Canadian roots to the huge impact India has had on me, with all the love I received from my country and the South Asian community in general, which has been so instrumental in my journey,” the actor said, as quoted in a press release. Nora added in a press release, “What makes this song even more meaningful is the strong Indian representation behind the scenes; from its choreographer to its dancers to its styling team, everyone played a huge role in bringing this vision to life. Creating this song for a global event like the 2026 FIFA World Cup is almost surreal for me! It feels like a full circle where different cultures, sounds and people come together. I hope I can bring the great sounds of the East to the world in my own way.” Notes.

According to the press note, a majority of the crew featured in the music video, including the choreographer, dancers and stylists, are Indian. FIFA has officially announced the full lineup for the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album, bringing together a global lineup of artists, culture and music for the biggest FIFA World Cup in history. The 18-track official album is the most comprehensive multi-track musical and cultural project ever created for the show event, capturing the energy, emotion and global spirit that will define the greatest show in the world across Canada, Mexico and the United States. With the FIFA Countdown Concert on 10 June and the tournament opening the following day, FIFA continues to use music as a key part of its global celebration of football, culture and entertainment ahead of the first whistle of the 2026 World Cup.
