North Carolina Man Catches Caretaker Forcing Elderly Man in Soiled Diaper to Walk Down Street as ‘Punishment’

A North Carolina man is now in the spotlight after uploading videos to social media that he claims show his neighbor being harassed.

according to videoThe old man was outside in the cold weather, wearing an orange shirt and a very dirty adult diaper, with a blank expression.

Jonathan Maurice Pigford found the man on the street and helped him back home. However, Pigford met a woman who was alleged to be the man’s babysitter, and the woman told him to take the man back to the street and escort him home to teach him “a lesson”.

The problem escalated within seconds.

“You’re just using her for your check,” Pigford told the woman, adding that he intended to inform authorities.

Inside another videoFollowing their disagreement, Pigford explained that at the end of the day, all he cared about was the old man’s health.

“At the end of the day, I just want him to be safe and have his last days be amazing,” she said.

Pigford also stated that this was not an isolated incident. According to his statement, another neighbor saw the man washing himself in the backyard with a garden hose.

Pigford added that Social Services contacted him after his video went viral. Hopefully Social Services can place the man in a more comfortable place and even provide him with better health care.

“Hopefully they can get him moved somewhere else or get better care,” Pigford said.

Social Services is currently investigating the incident.
