North Korea fires missiles from ‘nuke warship’ as Kim issues horror threat to world | World | News

North Korea tested cruise missiles from a warship capable of carrying a nuclear warhead on Tuesday, weeks after Kim Jong-un warned his country could pose a threat with weapons of mass destruction.

As Kim watched along with defense officials and naval commanders, Pyongyang forces fired two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-ship missiles.

The cruise missiles can carry nuclear warheads and flew for more than two hours during testing.

Anti-ship missiles flew for more than 30 minutes.

State media claimed the missiles hit their targets.

Following the tests, Kim warned that his country would pursue “unlimited expansion” of its nuclear capabilities.

Last month, Kim warned that his country would “never surrender” its nuclear weapons.

He said: “The United States and its allies are constantly bringing nuclear strategic assets to the regions surrounding our country, shaking the foundations of regional security.

“The United States carries out acts of state terrorism and aggression around the world, but the arrogant and reckless exercise of its power has not weakened the will of progressive humanity to oppose domination and subjugation and achieve independence and equality.

“I confirm that our nation is no longer a country under threat, and that we now have the power to pose a threat when necessary.

“The solid structure of the nuclear shield guarantees and promotes the development of all sectors of the country, including economy and culture, as well as the improvement of people’s lives.”
