What happens to ‘missing names’ on Bihar SIR list? | Explained

The story so far: The Election Commission (EC) completed the first stage of the special intensive revision of the election rolls in Bihar by publishing the draft voters list on 1 August. 65 Lakh names have been removed from this list for various reasons, and the fate of the Lakhs, which are included in the draft list without sending verification documents, are also in the air.
