NSW Police arrest two men, multiple casualties reported

Dozens of shots were fired at Bondi Beach and several deaths were reported.

Just after 6.40pm on Sunday evening, residents reported police cars swarming the area and hundreds of people fleeing the beach.

People in Bondi reported hearing up to 50 gunshots and people lying on the ground near Campbell Parade.

Local Harry Wilson, 30, witnessed the shooting. He told this imprint: “I saw at least 10 people on the ground and there was blood everywhere.”

A person believed to be one of the attackers was shot by police, while another person believed to be the second attacker was arrested.

Police warned citizens to stay away from the area and advised those at the scene to take shelter.
