NSW Police prepare for Sydney marathon, controversial rallies
The NSW police will deploy hundreds of civil servants on Sunday to control three large and controversial rallies in Sydney and warn them quickly to suppress any clues of violence.
The city will hold a protest from the Refugee Action Coalition and the anti -immigration march for the Australian Rally, a pro -Palestinian rally.
Peter McKenna, Deputy Commissioner Peter McKenna, said that the police are ready to go to any unexpected situation on Sunday ”.
“I understand that some reasons have a lot of passion, increase emotions, and we have a lot of tolerance for it, or he said.
“No tolerance, violence or criminal offense.
“If someone wants to come and seize these assemblies and do the wrong thing, we have police trucks there, we will load them and bring them back to the police station where they will be arrested and accused.”
Police, public order and security to protect the public order and rebellion staff officers, traffic and general tasks police, horses and dog staff will use.
Deputy commissioner McKenna said, “My message to people who come to these public councils… He’s following the police instructions,” he said.
“There will be too many police.”
In addition to the rallies, the Sydney Marathon will take place on Sunday.
The event is expected to attract approximately 35,000 runners.
