Odisha tops DMF collections in India with ₹31,324 Crore

As Odisha pointed out the 10th anniversary of the initiative, the highest amount of 31,324 CRORE under the Regional Foundation (DMF) and exceeded all other mineral transport.

In order to help people and the region affected by mining activities, DMF, mines and minerals (Development and Regulation) (MMDR) Amendment Law was introduced through 2015. DMF Fund Pradhan Manti Khanij Kshetra Kshetra Kshetra is managed by Yojna (PMKKKY) directives.

The cumulative collection under DMF established in 646 regions in 23 states touched Crore 1,08.219.42 Crore. 90.608.87 Crore was allocated, while 57.381.72 crore was spent.

Odisha, which is the number one in India for mineral reserves such as iron ore, coal, bauxite and chromite, appeared as a natural leader in the DMF fund collections, and La 31.324 Crore – 15.200 Crore is the second Chhattisgarh.

The other three states, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, 13,791 Crore, ₹ 10.833 Crore and 8.605 Crore, respectively.

When it comes to individual regions, Odisha’s Keonjhar region alone collected the DMF fund alone. With 9.234.06 Crore and 3,932.14 Crore, Angul and Sundargarh took important steps in the DMF collection. Odisha also spent the highest amount of funds in front of 6,679 Crore by 11,257 Crore and Jharkhand by Chhattisgarh for the last year.

Odisha gave priority to education and drinking water in mining, which was affected by 4,395.37 Crore and 3,328.35 Crore expenditures in the two sectors, respectively.
