Offset has broken his silence after being shot near a Florida casino when the Migos rapper fired back at rival Lil Tjay for calling him a rat.
Offset, 34, apparently saw a post from The Shade Room Teens account about a comment Tjay, 24, made to reporters after being released from prison.
“You are not a bus priest,” Offset wrote in the comments section, which is often used in informal conversations to describe a situation where there is little or nothing to report.
These remarks came after Tjay told reporters after his release: ‘The last thing I saw was Offset looking at me like: ‘Well, that nigga shot me, that nigga shot me!’”
‘A n****a is a rat, nigga. … I didn’t fight at all. Did I shoot? This is so crazy. I’m going to crush Offset.

Police allege Lil Tjay started a fight that led to Migos member Offset being shot.
According to a probable cause statement obtained by the Daily Mail, police allege Lil Tjay (real name: Tione Merritt) ‘led party members to start a fight with another group of men’ around 7:22pm on Monday night.
Police allege that one of the men in Lil Tjay’s group pulled out a gun and shot Offset in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives from Offset, Lil Tjay, the Seminole Police Department and the Broward County Sheriff’s Department for comment.
Lil Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, previously denied ‘unfounded rumors that Lil Tjay was involved in a shooting’ in a statement on Tuesday.
“Lil Tjay was not shot,” he said, referring to rumors that spread online shortly after Offset’s shooting was reported, adding, “Lil Tjay has not been charged with any shooting either.” “Any news to the contrary is false,” he said.

Lil Tjay was arrested for disorderly conduct, a first-degree misdemeanor, and is being held at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the Seminole Police Department said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

Lil Tjay, who was released on bail on Tuesday, denied involvement in the alleged fight.
According to probable cause, police alleged Lil Tjay got into a fight with Offset’s co-workers after the shooting.

A spokesperson for Offset previously confirmed that he was shot during the fight.
“We can confirm that he has been shot and is currently receiving medical care in hospital,” they told the Daily Mail, adding: “He is in a stable condition and is being closely monitored.”
Offset, whose estranged wife Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024 after six years of marriage, was later seen outside the hospital in a wheelchair while taking a smoke break on Tuesday morning.
