Older Aussies back increased superannuation tax

It supports the increasing taxes on most old Australians on high retirement balances.

The federal government hopes to remove taxes on super balances over $ 3 million from 15 percent to 15 percent from 30 percent from 30 percent to 30 percent.

Despite the screams caused by the opposition, the national elderly supports the change of 57 percent of the elderly, according to a survey of 3000 people aged 50 years and older for the Super Members Council by Australia.

Misha Schubert, CEO of Super Members Council, said the results were followed with a broader sensitivity on Labour’s bill.

“There seems to be a broad understanding of a strong sense of justice as the importance and starting point of Australia’s super system and the importance of sustainability in the super system.”

Although a significant majority of the respondents believed that the super system was strong and sustainable, it thought that it was relatively less fair.

According to the report, women showed that weaker health and Australians with less formal education have less confidence levels.

Many of these demographic features do not have equal access to retirement benefits due to lack of employment opportunities or degraded working history.

In general, however, the elderly Australians understand their super importance almost universally with 89.5 percent, believing that it should be saved for retirement.

Beyond the existing rules, the early version of the funds was supported.

However, for the first time, the coalition continued to push a housing plan to allow home buyers to reach their super deposits up to 50,000 dollars to leave their super deposits, despite the protests, it would increase house prices and make the future savings worse.

“The policy ideas that propose early evacuation make dangerous and poorer.” He said.
