One dead and two ill after meningitis cases in Reading

Health protection advisor Rachel Mearkle said: “Students and staff will naturally feel anxious… but meningococcal meningitis requires very close contact to spread and major outbreaks such as the one we have seen in Kent recently are thankfully rare.”
