One dead, another wounded in hotel shooting

One man died, the other is in the hospital with serious wounds after firing outside of a Sydney hotel.

Emergency services were called to Ross Street in Forest Lodge at 18.40 on Sunday.

Police said two people were shot many times by unknown attackers who left the scene by car.

A man died at the scene, one second, in a serious situation before the hospital was treated by medical officials for firearms.

The police founded a criminal location and the Leichhardt Detectives – with the help of the murder team of the State Crime Command – investigating the incident.
