One dead, four others in hospital with injuries
One person was killed and four others were injured in a shooting in Sydney’s west.
NSW Police were called to Liverpool Hospital at around 8.30pm on Tuesday after two men believed to be in their 20s arrived at the hospital with multiple injuries. Despite treatment, one of the men died a short time later, while the other was in stable condition, police said.
Ten minutes after the call, two more men arrived at Fairfield Hospital in critical condition. The treatment of the injured continues.
Police said at around 9.50pm a man, believed to be 19, was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition and was being treated for his injuries.
A crime scene was established at a home in Canley Heights and police are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the homicide squad.
