After using impact drivers from brands like DeWalt, Bosch’s And Ryobi, Artisan It stood out immediately because it felt noticeably lighter in my hand. This made it easier to use on longer projects without tiring my wrist.
Despite its lighter build, it doesn’t feel underpowered. When building picnic tables and repairing raised garden beds, he drove long deck screws into pressure-treated lumber without any delay. None of these were quick five-minute jobs. They lasted several hours spread over a single weekend.

I often find myself working until sunset, so the built-in LED has become one of my favorite features. While I was placing planter boxes one evening, it illuminated my work area well enough that I didn’t have to stop and grab a flashlight. It also stays on for a few seconds after you release the trigger, making it much easier to align the next screw.

Change bits in seconds with one hand

One feature I appreciated almost immediately was how quickly I could change bits between jobs. Whether I was drilling pilot holes or driving screws, I could replace parts in seconds without needing extra tools. This is because craftsman drill It uses a keyless chuck instead of the older keyed design that required a separate chuck key.
The bit locked securely in place without slipping when drilling drainage holes into the concrete planter. I then moved on to installing screws into the planter box brackets and it only took a few seconds to switch between parts.
What I didn’t like
If I have one complaint, it’s that the charger isn’t particularly fast. It’s compact and takes up much less space than some competing models, but this convenience comes at the expense of charging speed.
