Israel Targets Aussies While Blocking Aid to Gaza | The West Report
The Israeli government has published a list of Australians, including journalists, academics, students and community organisers, calling them anti-Semites. There is no court process, no published evidence and no right of reply. They’re just putting a target on Australians’ backs and the Government hasn’t bothered to respond yet.
Critics warn that the list blurs the line between genuine antisemitism and political opposition and targets people who speak out about Israel and Palestine.
Antisemitism in Australia is real and must be confronted; But turning criticism of a foreign state into hate speech undermines efforts to combat genuine antisemitism and puts individuals at risk without due process.
