US President, Xi Jinping continue US-China summit with discussions on Iran, trade and Taiwan

Beijing: US President Donald Trump, who was greeted with military pageantry and pageantry on the red carpet in Beijing last night, showered effusive praise on his Chinese counterpart and “great leader” Xi Jinping, who used the first talks of the two-day summit to send a warning about Taiwan.

But behind closed doors, he issued a warning to Trump about Taiwan, which he described as the “most important issue” shaping the future of Sino-US relations.
