OpenAI acquires health-care technology startup Torch

Owned by OpenAI acquired health technology startup TorchThe company announced Monday.
OpenAI acquired Torch for approximately $60 million, according to a source familiar with the deal who asked not to be named because the details are confidential.
Torch was building a “unified medical memory” for AI that aims to bring a patient’s health data, often siled and stored across a number of different vendors and formats, into one place.
Torch employees will join OpenAI as part of the acquisition, the companies said.
