US to scrap industry greenhouse gas reporting program

The US Environmental Protection Agency plans to scrape a program that requires thousands of industrial companies to report greenhouse gas emissions and brought unnecessary costs.
“Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program is nothing more than the bureaucratic bureaucracy that does not do anything to improve air quality.” He said.
EPA said that the end of the plan can save up to $ 2.4 billion at regulatory costs of US companies.
The program, which was launched in 2010, collected emissions from approximately 8,000 from the largest industrial areas of the country, including coal plants, refineries and steel factories.
The United States, the second highest greenhouse gas emission after China, and once again withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement under President Donald Trump.
Since Trump took office, the government has also provided funds for climate protection and research, including global warming.
Critics warn that ending the reporting system will undermine that the emissions cannot be reduced if their resources are unknown.
