Opposition to delimitation bill is anti-national, says State BJP chief

State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday strongly defended the Centre’s Restriction and Reservation for Women Bill and termed those opposing it, including the Congress party, as “anti-national”.

“Congress and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy are raising absurd objections and creating a bogeyman of north-south divide. Our party will not allow such a narrative and will fight this misinformation tooth and nail,” Mr. Rao said during an informal interaction with the media at the party’s State office.
