Pakistan-Afghanistan Peace Talks Failed

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan said on Wednesday that talks on a permanent ceasefire with Afghanistan had “failed to deliver a workable solution” and warned it would take steps to protect its people.
“Unfortunately, the Afghan side did not give any assurances, continued to deviate from the main issue and resorted to blame games, diversions and tricks,” Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar said in a statement on the X channel after four days of talks in Istanbul mediated by Qatar and Turkey. he said.
“Therefore, dialogue failed to produce a workable solution.”
