Pakistan foreign min in Dhaka to rebuild ties, first in 13 years

Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has long arrived in Dakka on Saturday for a two -day rare visit to rebuild the ties with Bangladesh following the entire PM Sheikh Hasina for a long time.

A special flight carrying the most senior Pakistan leader Dar, who has visited Bangladesh since 2012, came to Dakka, and Islamabad says that in bilateral relations, “an important milestone.” Hina Rabbani Khar became the last Pakistan Foreign Minister who visited Dakka in November 2012 to invite Hasina to a summit.

Authorities are planned to have bilateral talks with Dar’s Foreign Advisor Tuhid Hossain and Foreign Advisor Tufid Hossain.
The two countries have completed various agreements such as visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders, cultural change agreement, cooperation between foreign service academies, joint trade and investment groups and Mouse for the cooperation of the State News Agency.
