Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 17 years in prison by the Pakistan Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in connection with the Toshakhana-2 case. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is currently detained in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. He and his wife were sentenced to prison in a major corruption case; because both are accused of abuse of power and breach of trust in connection with gifts from the state.
