Palaniswami condemns alleged defacing of MGR statue in Nagercoil

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Sunday condemned the alleged vandalism of late AIADMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s statue in Nagercoil.

In a social media post, Mr. Palaniswami said miscreants damaged the statue at Parvathipuram in Nagercoil in Kanniyakumari district on Saturday night. He condemned the actions of those who caused harm and those who “secretly remained behind the scenes.” He called for immediate police investigation and strict legal action against those involved.
