Palantir lands $10 billion Army software and data contract

Palantir signed a contract with US army Up to $ 10 billion to meet the growing war demands in the next decade.
As a part of the agreement, it will help the army to produce productivity while preparing for threats and will turn a total of 75 conventions into a single corporate agreement.
The agreement constitutes a “comprehensive framework for the future software and data needs of the army, which eliminates fees and supply -related fees and supply time schedules, according to a version of flexibility to the government.
Under the direction of President Donald Trump, the agreement further determines its role in the US government’s stuck on cost efficiency. Trump’s Government Productivity Department has cut jobs and programs to prevent expenditures.
Palantir founder and CEO Alex Karp became a vocal advocate of protecting US interests and uniting forces on the AI to defend the enemies.
The shares of the Denver -based artificial intelligence software company have increased more than twice to date.
Earlier this year, Palantir delivered the first two artificial intelligence -backed system with the US army in a $ 178 million agreement. In May, the Ministry of Defense increased its Maven Smart Systems Agreement to increase its AI capabilities to $ 795 million.
