Palestinian Australian brothers report tirade of racist abuse on Sydney train | New South Wales

The two Palestinian Australian Australian man says they were subjected to racist abuse on an anti -immigration walks in Australian cities on the same day.
Filmmakers Shatikh and Majed Badra told Guardian Australia that they were verbally on the train because Majed was wearing a keffiyah in the afternoon.
The couple, who killed the family during the war in Gaza and survived in the occupied region, were bombarded, the couple attended a rally for Palestine in the Sidney CBD before boarding a train for the Stanmore station.

“I tried to stop this climb, I tried to protect Majed, but they continued to attack Majed and physically attack me – we tried to protect ourselves as much as I could.”
Shatikh said they were forced to the gates of the train station from their seats. He said he answered four men by saying that they were “racist ve and supported a free Palestine.
Shamikh said he understood the risk of speaking about the attack on Guardian Australia, but there would be no cows in the face of racism.

“They acted very hostile to us,” he said. “I looked at them and I couldn’t understand: Why are they so aggressive? Why are they so angry? I have never seen these people in my life before – why do they hate us?
“This was an attack on our identity. Everyone has the right to proud about their identity, their families and their history.
“No one should feel insecure because they are. And we shouldn’t be quiet about it.”
The train was stopped at the Macdonaldtown station and all passengers were ordered. The Badra brothers reported the incident to the police and provided video images of the abuse.

It is not known whether the attackers allegedly on the train attended the anti -immigration rally in which they walked in Sydney in the afternoon.
