Pavement Encroachments In Tirupati Forcing Citizens Onto Busy Roads

TIRUPATI: The paths in Tirupati disappear rapidly due to rapes, including the most busy ways of the city. For this reason, pedestrians have to share space with vehicles and put their lives at risk.
Authorities have repeatedly launched pavement cleaning drivers. However, shops, Pushcarts and even government installations are soon invading them and disappointing marches.
Residents say that the problem is not limited to small sellers. Large organizations, including hotels, hospitals and government offices, have taken over public spaces. On the Tirumala Bypass Road, several hotels use generators in the designated parking spaces and use the sidewalks as a parking lot.
Power transformers, garbage boxes and general urine were established on paths in various fields. Satke Sravan from Subba Reddy Nagar asked how the law practitioners themselves or when public institutions deal with paths, how can they wait for special tradesmen to move differently ?.
The problem is the most acute of commercial extensions such as Gandhi Yolu, Bandla Street, Tilak Yolu, Nethaji Yolu, TK Street, Mosque Road, Bairagipatteda and Municipal Office. The shops put their screens or stand on the paths and force pedestrians to the main roads. Similar conditions also apply to the Karakambadi Road, where fruit stalls, vegetable shops and temporary throws are mushrooms along the stretch between the Circle and Guestline Days Hotel.
Passengers who go to the train station and the bus stop are faced with additional obstacles, Hawkers already put their food stalls on narrow sidewalks, slow the traffic and force people to walk around between moving vehicles.
Subramanyam Sai Kiran, a resident of the bank employees colony, said, “Thousands of these roads are walking every day. But the civil organ looks blind to the situation,” he said. He observes that the well -assigned smart city project cannot have a visible effect on the pedestrian infrastructure.
Municipal officials insist that the pavement permit operations have been performed periodically. “We make application drivers on arterial roads and high foot fall in pilgrims. Such explanations bring little comfort for the inhabitants of Tirupati.
