Pawan Kalyan Undergoes Surgery, Advised Bed Rest

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan underwent surgery on Friday following a sudden health complication, according to an official statement released by his political secretary P. Hariprasad.
In the statement, it was stated that Pawan Kalyan experienced serious discomfort while meeting with officials on administrative issues earlier in the day. He has reportedly been dealing with health issues for the past few months.
Acting on the advice of his personal doctors, the Deputy CM canceled his scheduled official duties and was admitted to the hospital for further evaluation. He received an MRI scan as part of the medical evaluation. Based on the results, doctors recommended emergency surgery, which was successfully performed.
Medical experts advised him to take complete rest for seven to ten days. However, they stated that full recovery may take longer.
The statement did not disclose further details about the nature of the health problem or the surgery.
