Melania Trump was never going to leave Donald despite scandal | US | News

Melania Trump would never leave her husband Donald, despite the legal turmoil that engulfed the president last year. That’s according to former press secretary and close aide Stephanie Grisham, who provided a rare glimpse into the former First Lady’s mindset during a CNN interview at the time.

Grisham appeared on Erin Burnett OutFront just hours after Donald Trump’s former lawyer and longtime fixer Michael Cohen took the stand in a dramatic courtroom appearance.

Cohen’s testimony touched on Trump’s personal affairs and Melania’s reactions to the scandals that rocked their marriage, including hush money payments. However, Grisham insisted that Melania always knew who she married.

This comes after Melania’s shocking admission in which she admitted she was “over” her relationship with Donald.

“He knew what he was getting into,” Grisham told CNN. “He may have been worried about how his future image would be affected, but he wasn’t going anywhere.” Mirror USA.

At the time, Trump was on trial on charges that he falsified business records ahead of the 2016 election to silence damaging stories.

Allegations suggest he silenced adult film star Stormy Daniels with hush money about an alleged sexual encounter. Trump has always denied any allegations of an affair or any close relationship with Ms Daniels, the Mirror reported.

Trump sentenced to unconditional discharge; This means he avoids prison, a fine, or parole but remains a convicted felon.

Ms. Grisham expanded further, saying: “Could Melania Trump be angry right now about all of this being there and their personal life, and it’s insulting? Certainly on a personal level.”

During the hearing, Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, testified that Trump was indifferent to his wife’s potential response to discovering an alleged affair and appeared more focused on the campaign.

Cohen explained that he asked Trump questions about how this story would affect his marriage to Melania.

Cohen shared that Trump assured him, “Don’t worry,” and added: “How long do you think I’ll stay in the market? It won’t be too long.”

Cohen interpreted this comment as a clear sign that “it’s all about the campaign.”

Ms. Grisham added her thoughts: “I think that comment [from Trump] According to Cohen, it was absolutely true.

“He is happy, he has a beautiful life.

“He’s not going anywhere, that’s been proven. So I absolutely believe he said something like that to Michael Cohen.”
