Penn station LIVE: Firefighters swarm major New York station in ‘massive response’ | World | News

Firefighters raided one of the world’s busiest train stations in the early hours of Friday, May 29. NJ Transit said service at Penn Station in New York City was severely disrupted following a fire on an Amtrak rail car in one of the Hudson River Tunnels.

The fire caused the suspension of service between Penn Station New York and Newark Penn Station. 1010 WINS journalist Glenn Schuck shared several videos at X showing multiple firefighters outside the station as he described the “huge response” to the incident.
