People cautioned against depositing money with Belagavi-based Shivam Associates

Yadgir Superintendent of Police Pruthvik Shankar warned people against investing in Belagavi-based Shivam Associates (an online company).

Mr. Shankar said a case has been registered against the company for alleged fraudulent dealings with public money.

People from Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Koppal, Bidar and Ballari districts have deposited over one lakh rupees each in the company, which pays 3% interest on the funds. He said that after the case was filed, all financial transactions of the company were suspended pending the investigation.
