People in the West Bank share hopes for the deal
People in the West Bank have expressed hope that a ceasefire agreement on the war in Gaza could lead to a united Palestinian future.
The ceasefire came into force on Friday after the Israeli government approved a US-brokered agreement with Hamas in negotiations that included the personal participation of US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to the BBC, Ramallah residents said they hoped the agreement would also help Palestinians in the West Bank.
