‘Illegal’ Human Egg Trading Racket Busted in Hyderabad

Haydarabad: The Cyberabad police claimed that a large commercial carrier and “illegal” human egg trade allegedly operated by seven women and a “secret” man were operated with various fertility centers in Haydarabad.
Two agents–Police said that in connection with the racket, a woman (45) and her son (27) had been arrested and that six donors were given to the deputy mothers.
The defendant said that a release from the Cyberabad police exploited the childless couples for illegal financial gain.
Acting on reliable information on Friday, a private police team raided a building under the borders of Pet-Basherabad Police Station in the presence of the Regional Medical and Medical Officer. Two defendants were caught during the operation, he added.
The ongoing investigation, Prime Minister defendant, the female agent previously worked as an egg donor and deputy mother.
Using the experience and network of contacts with other agents, fertility clinics and centers, he began to hire women to move women as egg donors or proxy mothers and directed them to different fertility centers.
He collected significant quantities for each successful procedure. Financially, he targeted vulnerable women, convinced them to donate eggs or to be a surrogate, and hired them at home and collected additional maintenance fees from hospitals.
Police said that his son, a graduate of Chemical Engineering, helped him in the illegal work that serves as the only source of income.
The relevant donors and deputy mothers were aware that commercial carrier was banned by laws, but were aware that it was a part of financial gain.
The claim of participation of fertility clinics and centers is still under investigation.
A lawsuit against the defendants within the scope of the Carrier Regulation Act, the Auxiliary Reproductive Technology Law and the BNS Law.
Efforts continued to identify and capture other people with illegal rackets.
