Man shot and seriously injured by police in Hollingbourne

When a man was shot by the police in Kent, a man was seriously injured.
The incident took place on Monday after the civil servants were called to an address in Hollingbourne to arrest about 19.15 BST.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital with those thought to be life -changing injuries.
The city police confirmed that “a firearm was discharged” and one of the officers and the Independent Police Behavior Office (IPC).

An IOPC spokesman said: “On Monday, July 7, we started an independent investigation after a man was shot and seriously injured by a city police.
“After the incident in Hollingbourne, which occurred shortly after 9 o’clock, we were informed by the force and soon declared an independent investigation.” They said.
“The man is being treated in the hospital because of his injuries that are thought to have changed life.
He continued: “We sent the researchers to the scene. Our investigation is very early.”
A city police spokesman said power “support” IOPC’s investigation.
Park Gate Inn, broadcasting on social media, said that he wanted to “assurance to everyone that there is nothing in the bar itself.”
He added that “the team is safe and good” and “the authorities will be reopened when they complete their work in the region”.
