Pet bobcat on loose in Minnesota

A domestic animal in Minnesota is loose.
The Sheriff Office of the Roseau district in the north of the state went to Facebook on Thursday, 25.09.25 and shared that the State Ministry of Natural Resources received a report to say that the animal had escaped from the owner on the way to war.
A photo of Bobcat read the task in the subtitle: “Minnesota DNR’ye Warroad, MN, today is reported to have escaped from the owner near 9/25/25.”
And the Sheriff Office of the Roseau district invites the inhabitants not to approach him and to communicate with law enforcement officers if Bobcat is detected.
The shipment continued: “If you see the animal, do not approach and call Minnesota DNR or Roseau District Şerif Office. Şerif Office 218-463-1421. DNR 507-285-7186.”
The warning launched more than 100 comments.
A user said: “Asking for a friend… Where is someone buying a pet bobcat?”
A second person wrote: “He is beautiful! I hope he finds it and will be safe home.”
And he wrote a third follower: “How can they keep a legally wild animal as a pet?
“I hope he didn’t run away in the town because I don’t want him to kill my little dog.”
Bobcats are animals arranged in Minnesota – but the owners are not allowed to be kept as pets if they have permissions given by the state or for accredited zoos and sacred areas of wildlife.
It is not known whether Bobcat has permission for the animal.
