Pet owners given heatwave warning after dog rescued from hot car

Police issued a warning to animal owners about leaving animals in hot cars when a dog had to be rescued by civil servants.
The Wiltshire police took out a large dog from a car in South Marston after a public member who worried about his welfare just before 8.30 on Wednesday at 8.30.
The dog was captured and taken to the dog hut. The force said that the owner was spoken and invited in accordance with the 4th part of the 2006 Animal Welfare Law, which caused an animal to suffer unnecessary pain.
Since the country appeared ready to enter the third heat wave of the year at the weekend, it began to climb again throughout England.
PC Paul Croft added: ız We will take very hot air for the next few days. Please do not leave your dog in a hot car. The temperature in the vehicle will be much warmer than it feels outside and may cause serious injury in the animal.
“If you see a dog in a hot car and in trouble, please call 999. Don’t try to force yourself to enter the vehicle because you commit a crime.”
John Warwick, who has ruled Swindon & District Animal Haven for 29 years, told BBC that dogs don’t always have to walk in hot weather.
“They are as happy as lying at home. The claws of a dog can burn in concrete and melt asphalt and hurt them,” he said.
“Common sense, many people are worried that they should always walk their dogs – but not in these weather.
RSPCA Lwarns, who left your dog in the car in hot weather, can be fatal.
Charitable, “Many people think that if they parked in the shadow or if the windows are open, it is suitable to leave their dogs in the car. However, a car may become as hot as the oven, even if the weather does not feel so hot. When the outside is 22 degrees Celsius, the car can withstand 47 degrees in an hour.”
RSPCA advises everyone to call 999 if they see a dog showing symptoms of heat impact in a car. If the dog’s condition is critical and the police did not come, the charity can be classified as “criminal damage. You may need to defend your actions in court, so please make sure you do the right thing. If you know that the dog is in danger, you can do damage to the owner of the car”.
