Morrisons giving 50% discounts to customers – have to act quick | UK | News

Customers at Morrisons will be able to enjoy a 50% discount on certain purchases, but they’ll need to be quick about it. The British supermarket, which has nearly 500 department stores across the country, is offering parents more than 50% off baby essentials in store and online in January. The deal started on January 21 and will run only while supplies last. However, another Morrisons Baby Event is expected in April.

The event was designed to support families with babies with basic needs in 2026. Special deals available as part of the January sale include the Tommee Tippee Breast Pump for £35, a highchair for just £17 and a booster seat for £10. The Tommee Tippee Made for Me Single Electric Breast Pump received an impressive score of 4.5 out of 5 when reviewed by Made For Moms. The items on sale will be popular, so parents are asked to act quickly to take advantage of these prices.

On average, £60 of this figure is spent on nappies, £243 on clothing, £70 on feeding equipment and £200 on toys and furniture. Meanwhile, the price of a new bed frame can range from £70 to £800, while the price of a car seat starts from around £100.

Morrisons isn’t the only supermarket in the UK running a special promotion to help new parents with the costs of having a baby and raising a family. Aldi also stepped in to help.

The retailer is bringing back the Mamia New Parent Fund for 2026, following its launch last year. As the name suggests, the program aims to support new parents with the cost of basic needs such as diapers. To be in with a chance of winning the £100 voucher, parents must email mamiaparentfund@aldi.co.uk with a receipt showing their latest Mamia purchase.

The Mamia product range includes nappies, wipes, baby food and toiletries.
