Plea filed in SC against U.P. govt’s QR code directive for eateries along ‘kanwar’ route

The Supreme Court will have an objection that challenges the directive of the Uttar Pradesh Government on 15 July, ‘Kanwar’ route that reveals the names and identities of the owners.

Referring to a press release published by the UP administration on June 25, Mr. Jha said, “New measures necessitates the demonstration of QR codes in all restaurants. The petition said that he wanted to reveal their religious and caste identities under the “legal license requirements” from the UP government’s directive.
