Pleasure flight helicopter crashes in field near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight – sparking huge emergency response
This morning, a helicopter fell in an area near a busy road on Wight Island.
On the main road to Newport, he landed next to the town of Shanklin and made a major emergency intervention.
The nightmare appeared immediately after 9.30, when something seriously went to the air ambulance service.
Emergency teams from Hampshire and Wight Air Ambulance Island and Coast Guard Rescue from Lee-on-Solent 175 are currently working on stage.
It is not clear how many people are on board or how bad they can do.
Firefighters from Shanklin, Ventnor and Newport are also trying to help you fight after the win.
The Shanklin road is currently closed between Whiteley Bank and abscess manor road and intersections.
Hampshire police said: ‘A3020 We were called to the report of a helicopter in an area near the Shahklin road at 9.24.
‘The road is closed due to the number of emergency service vehicles at the scene, so please avoid the region right now.’
Hampshire and Wight Isle Air ambulance spokesman said: ‘We can confirm that our distributors deployed the air ambulance at 09.20 at 09.20.
‘Critical care team, which consists of a doctor and an expert medical officer, works with our Emergency Service colleagues.’
